King World Travel was formed in Ayr in December 1985 by Tom King and Linda Boyd.The Company has expanded over the years and now has an additional 5 branches and is one of Scotland's leading Independent travel agents. We are fully bonded and licenced with ABTA and ATOL. We continually strive to offer the highest levels of customer care and satisfaction. We also offer competitively priced, comprehensive insurance packages to ensure your complete peace of mind with all your travel/holiday arrangements.

In March 2011 King World Travel was acquired by the Minoan Group Plc as it's first step on the development of the Group’s travel and leisure strategy.

As an Advantage Travel Centre King World Travel maintains its independence while at the same time being able to offer customers holidays and flights at prices which fully compete with the major national tour operators through their tied outlets. As a result we are able to offer a service where our customers are in a position to compare the best products and prices of the major operators with a large range of specialist products.
